My Lord! Another one of those self-righteous hero types is coming to attack the Dark Citadel! Click on henchmen portraits to review their personnel files. Drag and drop your henchmen to assign them to gaurd posts!
Rith Age: 19 Human Male Rith is your lordship's nephew and apprentice. He is a promising but inexperienced fighter, eager to prove himself to you on the field of battle. Rith is clearly motivated by a hunger for power and he has periodically exhibited troubling impatience and impertinence, though he seems loyal enough on the surface. Naturally, your lordship wishes to protect your own blood from harm, but some of the guard have exchanged whispers of nepotism. It may serve to give him a more dangerous post than usual.
Stanos Age: 45 Human Male Married with child Stanos is your strongest soldier and greatest ally. He is captain of your guard and much-loved by the men. Though he occasionally objects to your more.pragmatic orders, his loyalty is beyond reproach. His skills with a sword are unparalleled, and his offensive sorcery rivals only your own, though he is starting to show his age. One can't help but wonder how he would fair against the Hero on his own.
Nevander Age: ?? Elven male Single You know little about this long-haired elven warrior who has come to serve you. He has proved himself to be a skilled warrior in combat, on par with Raithe and slightly weaker than Stanos. When questioned about his motivations for joining your Dark Citadel, he has simply stated that the opportunity to serve your dark lordship is its own reward. While this is true enough, Nevander has yet to prove his loyalty to you, and there is something deeply unsettling about the way this stranger carries himself.
Glolt Age: 22 Half-Ogre Male Single If I may be frank my lord, Glolt is a brute, plain and simple. He always shouts when he speaks, and while he possesses tremendous strength, he is hideously clumsy and heinously stupid, leaving him better suited to grunt work and pillaging. While the Dark Citadel is an equal opportunity employer and having a half-ogre on staff fulfills a number of diversity requirements, many of the other Henchman speak ill of Glolt's mixed heritage.
This is the most dangerous post, my lord. Without the defensive fortifications of the citadel, or support from lesser guardsman, your henchman will be at a severe disadvantage here, no matter how skilled or strong he is.
Here your henchman will have support from your grunts and walls to hide behind. Your attacker will also be weakened from his encounter with the Vanguard.
Unless things go awry in an awful unexpected way, your attacker shouldn't even reach your throne room. Just to be safe, I would recommend choosing an experienced and trusted henchman for the job.
